Thanksgiving Baskets were a tremendous success!  We as a church were able to provide a turkey and all the trimmings for 12 families in our area.  Thank you all who joined with us in this effort to offer the practical love of Jesus to our community

Friday, December 4th we had our first ever Shine Youth ministry "Chill night" at the home of the Cheshier family.  The evening was designed to be just that, a time to hang out and have fun; fooseball, pool table, the works.  It was a tremendous success with over 25 youth in attendance! 

Sunday, December 13th we had a Christmas Dinner and Worship night.  Dinner was free and after our time around the table we spent time in the sanctuary sharing in a time of celebrating the holiday season worshipping our King.  With over 55 in attendance, we look forward to having more evenings of worship like this monthly in 2010. 

This Christmas it was our privilege to partner with Bank of Star Valley in Project Angeltree providing gifts for 10 children in our area that would otherwise not receive presents for Christmas.  We were honored to contribute in such a way and look forward to other opportunities like this to be the practical hands and feet of Jesus to Star Valley.

Adult Sunday School Study

“Shine” Youth Service

Thursday Evening Bible Study
Come on out and join us as we study through What the Bible Says about Worship by Christopher D. Hudson.  Thursdays at 7:00 pm at Matt and Cath’s home in Afton.  For details call Matt at 885-5446.

Friday Evening Worship and Prayer
Join us for a time of studying through the spiritual gifts, worship, prayer and waiting on the Lord.  7-9 p.m. in the sanctuary on the first Friday every month.

Nights of Praise
Our collaborative service with other churches in our area, the Nights of Praise are a time of worship and communion led by various worship leaders.  7-9 p.m. on the third Friday every month, location varies from month to month.  Call the church for more details, 883-6050.
