About Us
New
Hope Fellowship began in 1997. We are more than a “church.” New
Hope is a family of believers committed to worshiping God, hearing
and obeying God’s Word, encouraging one another, serving in the Body of Christ,
and giving others hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
God has called us as individuals and as a Body to love Him with our
heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matt.
22:37-39). This mandate we intend to carry out.
New Hope Fellowship (NHF) is affiliated with the Assemblies of God. The
Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people
at the founding convention. Today there are more than 12,500 churches in the
U.S. with over 3 million members and adherents. There are more than 64 million
Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God one of the
world’s largest Pentecostal denominations.

The
Assemblies of God, founded as a result of a religious revival which swept
around the world in the early 1900’s, has become the largest Pentecostal group.
It was organized in a constitutional convention at Hot Springs, Arkansas, in
1914.
Doctrine
Doctrinally,
the Assemblies of God emphasizes personal salvation, water baptism, divine healing, the baptism with the Holy Spirit accompanied by the evidence
of speaking in tongues, and the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus Christ. The Bible is
recognized as the inspired word of God and provides the rule for faith and
practice.

Our Core Values
H - New Hope Fellowship is a place of healing where the body, spirit, soul, and mind will be transformed by the power of the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.
O - New Hope Fellowship is a place of outreach where many opportunities take place to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into the communities of Star Valley. Also, New Hope Fellowship is a place where opportunities are given for believers to serve the Lord.
P - New Hope Fellowship is a place where biblical principles are taught and caught so followers of Jesus live for the Lord with their whole heart.
